Visits, Withdrawal, Etc. . .

Well, we are going through withdrawal from having Nanna here for the last week. Always depressing when family leaves. She came, she saw, she conquered. Seriously. . . she turned the house upside down (in a good way). She moved Steve's office downstairs and turned his old office into the new nursery (see pic). I LOVE it!!! She moved things around, cleaned them up, painted, did laundry, organized. . . And that is just the beginning of what she did. Come back!!!

The morning that she left, I tried not to mention her name hoping that Nikolai wouldn't notice she was gone -- yeah right! He turns to me at breakfast and says, "Love Nanna." He is going through some definite attention withdrawal.

Odds and Ends:
1) Here is a picture of cute little Nikolai sleeping when he was sick last week. I love the pic. Nothing so cute as a sleeping child.

2) Nikolai loves to iChat. I was reminded of this today when he pulled me to the computer and said, "iChat Uncle Ben." What a different world that a 2 year old would even know about iChat. Funny.

Really like the nursery - great colors. And yeah for mothers and mothers-in-law. Free labor plus good company is never a bad equation.

I love the nursery. Especially the bedding. We had looked at that one and it was one of the serious contenders. As it stands we have the high chair that goes with it but not the bedding set. I am following your example and got a web cam so distant relatives can see the baby. Right now they can just gawk at how gross my belly button looks.

SUPER CUTE. I LOVE the nursery bedding and valance. And it goes perfect with the paint that was already in the room - who could ask for anything more??
