Yep, my book of the week is a teen vampire novel (or a "riveting vampire love saga" according to the book jacket). . . I'll admit it. Usually I don't. . I just tell people to read it. When asked what it's about I usually mumble something about love, bats. . . my voice drops off and I change the subject. But seriously, if you've finished Harry Potter 7 and you need a little more escapism, the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyers rocks! This is her third book (Eclipse) and it came out yesterday. I finished it this afternoon -- couldn't put it down. Do I seriously have to wait another year for the end of the story?

I just finished Twlight and loved it along with everyone else who has read it. I tried to get her second book but they were out so I had to order it. Hopefully it will come soon so I can find out what happens next. Its so good to have a fun series to get into!
Sorry I have to plug another book by the same publisher as the Twilight series, Little Brown. It is also a YA novel by Ann Dee Ellis called "This is What I Did. I came out on July 1st and is about a 13 year old boy who is bullied. It is smart, witty, clever and a great story. It is also very easy to read - I read it in two hours.
Oh - I could be biased because it is by my little sister who teaches english at BYU
